I am a Melbourne man, but to be fair, I was born in Sydney and raised by the sea. I have also been a NYC, London, and Bangkok man. My love for the world is a constant thread in my life, and it’s this love that drives me to embrace any opportunity to be myself. I may think I am 50, but I am not, and I admit I was incredibly proud of the mug I painted in grade six. Better late than never to declare that.

My blogging journey began in 2005, sparked by the excitement of my big move to London at 21. Initially, it was a way to keep my family updated on my adventures. But as I continued to write, I discovered a profound joy. Writing became my happy place, a source of joy, just like the simple pleasure of hearing the word ‘puddle’ or ‘Kluger’.

It has been a source of great joy and fulfillment for me to share my personal stories here, and I am honored to have been able to bring happiness to others through my words. In this way, I feel my job is done.

  1. You know what I like the most, right next to the funny-yet-not-dumb writing style and content. The smile. I’m sure you’ve been told that before and that I’m not being original, but hey, it’s the truth after all 🙂

    1. Cheers Ricardo! Always fun to smile. And make paper planes.

      1. I suck at making paper planes but fortunately, I work in a very tall building, so even if they don’t fly well, they at least glide down for a while before hitting the ground LOL.
